” Tong Berry, Swedish environmental protection girl “, ” Katherine Commale, Mosquito Net Ambassador “, ” Malala Yousafzai fighting for girls’ education “, took their actions to help mankind and to protect the environment in their childhood because of their strong love for human beings and contributed to the world. November 20th is World Children’s Day. In response to UN World Children’s Day, Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy co-hosted the international forum, entitled “Little Hero’s Voices, We Fight for Human Rights and Justice”. The children sincerely spoke out and hope that Taiwan government eliminates officials who violated human rights, reforming system of tax and law, and takes actions of love and peace to change the world.
By the instruction of her Shifu, Wendy Lin, 8th grade student, learnt that her performance is not to show the skills but more importantly, let the audience understand her mind and my heart. Therefore, she performed from the bottom of her heart.
She said that the Supreme Court found the Tai Ji Men’s innocent of all charges and found there was no tax evasion or violation of the Tax Collection Act in 2007. Why can NTB (National Taxation Bureau) continue to issue wrong tax bills to Tai Ji Men against the law? If government officials do not follow the rule of law, who will follow? Is Taiwan going to be in chaos?
Tai Ji Men is not the only one persecuted by NTB. For example, Dr. Ye Yangchun, an outstanding scientist was also persecuted by NTB’s wrong tax bill with more than NTD 4 million. He was not allowed to go back to see his family in U.S.A. and finally divorced. Wendy is very sad for such a tragedy.
Wendy Yang pointed out that the people in Taiwan received wrong tax bills issued by NTB and filed a lawsuit but three judges Lin Qiuhua, Liu Xixian and Zhuang Jinchang convicted the people in all of cases. She wonder about their fairness. If they are not fair to all, they are not qualified as judges!
She was really surprised that Tai Ji Men is innocent but why are the officials against the law not punished but were promoted and awarded bonus? It is extremely unreasonable . In the classroom, if the bully is allowed, what a mess!
Kevin, 3rd grade student said “My parents and my teachers taught me to have a conscience since I was a kid so I do my homework before playing games and watching TV. I love the earth, the animals and save power and water.”
In the Tai Ji Men case, Kevin found that the Court ruled that NTB was wrong. However, NTB did not revoke the illegal tax bills and auctioned Tai Ji Men’s hand by this wrong tax bills. He hopes that bad people do not become officials because they will hurt many people in Taiwan. Milly, the lovely girl of 3 years old, reminded the adults of good deeds to prevent the flood of waters from coming upon the earth.
Tong Berry realized the challenges of climate change when she was 8 years old. She urged the Swedish government to reduce carbon emissions in accordance with the “Paris Agreement” when she was 15 years old. She said: “Her children and grandchildren may ask why she didn’t take any actions in time in 2018.” Her actions prove that children have discovered that living environment destroyed because of adults’ selfishness and greed, so they stand up and speak out to fight for their right to survive.
